The re-roping process is very simple, here are some tools you will need.
Hammer, Knife, Pliers, Screwdriver, Gloves
If your post has a removable top, remove the first, then remove at the old rope and nails.
Once all clean you can start re-roping the post. Starting at the bottom of the post attach the end of the rope on the cardboard tube and secure it with a nail, then continue looping the rope round the post making sure to keep it nice and tight & securing with a nail approximately every 5 loops.
When you reach the top secure with a nail and cut of the access. Now you can re-attach the top.
